A new poem that I wrote about poetry isn't that redundant

Oh poetry oh poetry
You take us such strange
Places
Worlds that never would exist
Without it
Like roads and woods and sailing
Ships
Of flowers grand and withering
Of all the rivers and
And peace and hunger no more
Of haiku and free verse rant
Of opinions most strong
Of the political sort
Good poetry
Bad poetry
It can be summed up
In one word
Expression abstract and otherwise

  7. I agree. Poetry is expression. What we feel and what we find--writer and reader. Thank you for sharing this.
