standing on wet cold rocks
as waves crash below
sending spray up
when a big one appears
out on the lake
you try to run away
too late
you got wet

my recent poetic fixation with the sea and water and such will make an interesting case study for
future psychiatrists. I was awarded last weeks perfect poet award. Thanks to Jingle

  12. A lingering moment in time -- daring the wave to catch you --- some times you win sometimes you don't but oh so much fun.
